A. Systematic operation and activation of tournaments for the development of pickleball in the world.
B. Discovering and nurturing excellent domestic and foreign players through tournaments and league activation.
C. Create a festival in Pickleball for pros and amateurs who love pickleball.

5. Tournament outline
A. Events: 3 events in each of the 3 categories (first-come, first-served basis)
- Open Division - 24 teams for all genders, 12 teams for women's doubles, 16 teams for mixed doubles (recommended DUPR 4.00 or higher)
(*all genders-> Both men and women can participate.)
- Division 2(D2) - men's doubles 12 teams, women's doubles 8 teams, mixed doubles 12 teams (Recommended DUPR 3.50~3.99)
- Division 3(D3) - men's doubles 16 teams, women's doubles 8 teams, mixed doubles 8 teams (Recommended DUPR 3.00~3.49)

* The participation restrictions by event are detailed as follows. * Waitlist registration will be applied after the number of people per event is reached.
* The number of teams to be recruited for each event may change depending on the number of people recruited for each event.
* Those under the age of 19 can participate after inquiring with the organizer in advance with the consent of a guardian using the PRL website (www.prl21.com) inquiry board.

B. Participation Restrictions
- Open Division: No restrictions on participation
- Division 2(D2): Winners of all domestic and international pickleball competitions in the " D2 or higher" levels are not eligible to participate.
- Division 3(D3)
: Those with a background in racket sports are not eligible to participate (elementary school students to adults).

- The date of winners is up to April 30, 2025.
- The criteria of the winners applies for all events of singles and doubles (all gender, men's, women's, mixed).
C. Tournament schedule

[1st time schedule] 8:00~14:00: D3 men's doubles, OPEN all gender, D2 men's doubles, OPEN women's doubles.
[2nd time schedule] 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: D2 women's doubles, D3 women's doubles.
[3rd time schedule] 4pm-8pm: OPEN mixed doubles, D2 mixed doubles, D3 mixed doubles
D. E. Prize money (total prize money of \11,950,000/ USD8,375)
* No deduction of the prize money even if the number of participants for each event is not fully booked.

- Women's Doubles 1st place , \1,500,000 2nd place \700,000, 3rd place \ 400,000

2) Division 2(D2)

4) All of the above winners are granted medals.
5) Raffle gifts: Separate draws will be performed for each division of all gender, men's, women's, and mixed doubles

F. Application for participation and payment of participation fee
1) Application due date: Wednesday, April 16, 2025 21:00 ~ Wednesday, April 30, 2025 21:00

5) Registration fee: \80,000 per team in the Open Division, \70,000 per team in the D2, \60,000 per team in D3.
No refunds will be given if the tournament is cancelled by applicants after the bracket is released on Wednesday, May 6th at 23:00. However, if an unavoidable personal reason arises for the players or partners after the match schedule is released, partners may be changed or disqualified by the organizer's decision.All participants in the tournament are considered to have agreed to the above contents and the organizer's decisions when applying for participation.

7) After application, final application is completed in the order of the payment of registration fee. * Please make sure to transfer the money on the same day after your application. (If you apply later after wire transfer, you may be pushed back in the waiting list.)

9) Waiting number will be assigned sequentially for the number of people exceeding the number of applications received by event (to be announced on the website)
10) If you have applied and transferred money but are put on the waiting list due to the first-come, first-served schedule, the registration fee will be refunded in a lump sum on May 12 after the end of the tournament.

H. Tournament rules
1)The 2025 Rulebook KPA v1 applies, and any other matters not specified in the regulations are subject to the decision of the organizer.
I. Tournament style
1) 24 teams (all gender) - Preliminary round, 3 teams per group, total of 8 groups, then 1st place in group advances to round of 16, 2nd and 3rd place in group advance to round of 32 tournament 2) 16 teams (Open mixed doubles, D3 men's doubles) - Preliminary round, 4 teams per group, total of 4 groups, then 1st and 2nd place in group advance to round of 8 tournament
3) 12 teams (Open women's doubles, D2 men's doubles) - 3 teams per group in the preliminary round, 4 groups in total, after the group round, the 1st place in the group advances directly to the quarterfinals, and the 2nd and 3rd place in the group advance to the round of 16 tournament.
4) 8 teams (D2 women's doubles, mixed doubles / D3 women's doubles, mixed doubles) - 4 teams per group in the preliminary round, 2 groups in total, then 1st and 2nd place in each group advance to the semifinals
5) Minimum of 3 games guaranteed for all participating teams.
6) Preliminary Round of 8 : 11 points single set , switch side at point 6 , no advantage ( one line judge per two courts)
7) Semifinals, 3rd and 4th place matches, finals: 15 points single set, switch side at point 8, When deuced, a team wins by reaching point 17. (Judge placement)
8) Time break 1 minute per team per match, medical time 5 minutes per team per match. * When using medical time, ask the event staff to check for 5 minutes, if it is difficult to proceed with the match after 5 minutes, the match will be considered a forfeit.
9) In case of a tie in the winning percentage in the preliminary round: Winner > Point Difference > Draw order
10) Self- judgment rule - If continuous foot faults and line decisions are repeated, the tournament staff will be present to conduct the match upon request.
11) In case of a dispute, the match will be stopped and the players will reach an agreement within 1 minute before proceeding.
12) Warm-up (3 minutes for preliminary round, 2 minutes for main round), flexibly operated depending on the progress of the match and the situation of participating players
13) Judge placement for semi-finals, finals and 3rd and 4th place matches
J. Misc.
1) Photos and videos taken during the tournament will be used on various social media platforms. 2) It is considered that consent has been given to the use of personal information and portrait rights when applying for participation. 3) It is considered that the participating players have fully understood and agreed to all information provided upon registration for the tournament. 4) In the event of an accident, the participating players are 100% responsible and are not liable for any civil or criminal liability against the organizer or the tournament venue. It is considered that you have agreed to this when applying for participation. 5) Video recording of semifinals, the 3rd and 4th place matches and finals (all gender, women's doubles, mixed doubles ) in the Open Division is permitted only by CNET Korea and can be viewed on the PRL Inc. YouTube channel.
K. How to become a DUPR member and apply for the tournament.
1) All PRL Open Series are managed by the DUPR rating system and PRL Series Points, and PRL club membership is required to continuously manage players' records.
